How about a bowyer skill so archers can make their own bows? Nothing fancy, but it'd be nice to be able to give yourself a useful weapon after you die to an aggie so you stand some chance at recovering your items. Maybe on a time limit, like after so many shots the weapon falls apart.

Upon reaching Hero, the player should be able to choose one new list of skills to learn, rather than have them all available. Perhaps have another available at hero 500. Instantly increases the variety of characters, takes away much of superhero monotony, and eliminates problems such as "everyone can see everything all the time b/c they all have heighten senses".

Change christen so that it checks if you're carrying the item before hitting you with the mana cost and lag. You get the item out before you start casting anything on it, so you'd realize then that you don't have it.

since you're considering changing how int and wis work, why not split up dex into manual(hands) dex versus whole body dex? For example, dwarves are very skilled with their hands, but aren't especially good at running fast or jumping through hoops. Similarly, kzn have very agile bodies, but might not be too good at sharpening weapons or picking locks (claws get in the way). As far as names go, I'm not

Several people have suggested Vampire as a race, to the response of "Not now". If Vampires are aver imp'd, perhaps it should be as a class rather than race. That way, skills could be tailored to the char rather than just a few weak racials, and make more sense as vampires are typically created from mortal races. Just a little idea for Crom's mighty divine back pocket to be used in the future.

this has 2 purposes, remove some money from the game and give dragons a small edge. with the introduction of gems, give dragons the ability to buy ac for gems. the cost should be pretty steep not to unbalance the game, first ac could cost 1 mill, second ac 2 mill and so on. that way most can buy a few ac but if you want 10 ac, it would cost a total of 55 mill. a possible drawback if needed could be to ma

Neither is 2 pracs per hp :) With Tor, pracs decrease and being able to train 1 hp extra per two levels isn't really practical. And other than training stats, hp, pracs are useless. This would encourage people to use them instead of just hoarding for lord and getting shadow gen.

Add resistances to melee damage types on mobs. Would add a nice variety to running, especially at hero tier, if certain mobs resisted slashing, stabbing, crushing, etc.. damage. Combinations of this would make it even more of a challenge.

a psion 200, or 250 spell/skill, the ability to locate no-locatable objects (maybe for only items of weapon type) for when trying to find your weapon. Most psis use dfb that I know, and it starts out no_locate.. Maybe we could call it psionist oversight? laugh, I have no clue.. just thought itd be a good idea :)
