start up echoes for when bld begin their dance. Someone's gotta notice when they start flailing about with their swords and such

check whether such messages exist. Before adding the message, create a filter for something like combat_skill_other (see other task) and apply it.

sagittarian. centaurs achieve a higher state of being when they look beyond things just on earth. since they are powerful on earth, they would retain a bit of their earth lore, but moving on to a universal intelligence, they lose their dexteritous nature attributed w/ earth structure. it's possible we could upgrade their damage in archer/melee areas but it isn't necessary. if this is to be done, then we

sagittarian continued - would deffinately have to lower their wisdom so they don't have as much pracs to balance them out again. Sagittarian/SGT could have something like racial astronomy to lower the amount of pracs it takes to adept, and maybe racial calm, considering creatures of such high intelligence wouldn't be agressive. who knows :P could be interesting

increasing ability for melee or similar does not really suit a racial via pax. The idea of a 'transcendental' race could work, but on its own it seems only negative. High int, less pracs and all this are not really inspiring aspects for defining a race.

war/bod/bzk types should get a taunt skill that allows them to provoke a mob into attacking them instead of their current target. Instead of giving a penalty to ac, it should give the targeted mob a frenzy/berserk effect.

Ok, since quicken takes mana because you "tried to quicken a spell" should reference that not all spells are quickenable in the helpfile.
