Blade Dancer/Ranger idea. Skill that allows one of these classes a much higher success rate whom disarm enemies with double handed weapons. Also allows the initiator the ability to "aim" their disarm at either a wield OR offhand (including shields!) When aiming at an offhand there is a reduced chance of success.

Destructive- logic against wachipi's idea for a "slow spell" to add lag. As much as this makes sense to a degree it would frequently out balance the benefits/hindrances of choosing certain gods. (Since spell lag is a factor in choosing a god more often than not for casters) If the "slow spell" is implimented.. it should carefully have a restriction, as to reflect these attributes.

since not everyone would cast slow all the time this seems a marginal problem. Most of the time the god-benefit would still apply.

OR, an additional idea of adding a spell that "softens" output surge damage. Point being in anycase, If you choose Shizaga.. say.. over Bhyss one spell shouldn't have the ability to nullify a major game play attribute.

just to confirm logic on the previous skill: If you wield lighter weapons you can counterattack with them much quicker. (probably more so right after a parry) Heavy weapons have the current advantage of doing more smashing damage, smaller weapons have no ideal advantage.

the given restriction is pointless, as most other weapons will be heavier, and blade dancers do not smash.

darts revamp rog/asn/shf (may archer ooc?) Darts as they stand are thrown which is fine. But what if certain classes due to dexterity or stealthy had the ability to throw them quickly without having to offhand them? Rather than one dart, many smaller darts with minimal damage. This would be more of a lowmort idea than anything.

Enforce roleplay character names.. Adjectives, adverbs, and names with an attached prefix "DrWhatever" should not be allowed. I think it would encourage more roleplaying. Just my two cents. :)

ppl with odd names may roleplay much more than those with proper in theme names. No logical connection. Names with pefixes etc are discouraged as per rules-names, but allowed.

there are others out there that are called priests, but those are not the priests that players can train as. The Tul-Sith focus is clear in the helpfile and an intrinsic part. Prs will stay this way.

Have furniture do something - trash works just as well for items which nothing. Examples could be comfy chairs you could sit on for increased regen - hp/mana/move specific. Big umbrellas to add the shade flag to a room, or other flags - getting into a cage, makes a room safe for you...

as a builder you can add all these flavours.

I think it'd be nice if there were a widget on the webpage to check and see if a name is in use, possibly just a bot issuing 'last' on the mud for a given name and changing the "mists of time" message to "Name not available" or similar. New users might get frustrated trying to find a "good" name that's not already in use at times.

can't do from website. Also can not see in what way a website widget would be better than the login screen. However, code: add a checkname command that checks whether a given name is valid and available; to be used while online on a character.
