Brianna finally heroed!  Congratulations Brianna!  She wanted to thank a
few people: Kheldan, Grainger, Evel, Marik, Talonius, Orlea, MoonUnit,
Swiftsword, ReRun, Almighty, Macros, Cyren, Cutter, Deuce, Tmeat and
Meko, Scatter, Deimos, and Kylara. 

Eyeless heroed as well.  Congrats Eyeless!  He wanted to thank Sven,
Sableena, Aiken, Boroein, Agrund, MoonUnit, Cyren, Dazed, Macros,
Harlie, and Talonius. 

The first (annual?) Hogathon happened on September 15th, 1995.  What's a
Hogathon?  For an hour and a half, from 11:30pm to 1:00am system time,
and mortal who wanted it could request that the immortal spell "Hand of
God" be cast upon them.  What did this spell do?  Increased the player's
hit and damage rolls by approximately 1,000 each!  Talk about power!  We
had over 150 players on during the Hogathon and several levels were
gained!  We even got one new hero, Frenata!  Congrats all who levelled,
and special thanks to all the Imms who helped out! 

Frenata heroed during the Hogathon!  She wanted to thank Macros, Marik,
Talonius, Ganymede, Fuzzy, Dragonfly, Balim, and Ejaka.  Congrats
Frenata! 

AsaMaro and Marat were MUD-married shortly before the Hogathon, making
September 15th an all-around eventful day.  Congratulations AsaMaro
(yah, that's me!) and Marat!  Long may you be happy, and many wedding
gifts may you receive!  (And thanks to everyone who attended.  In all
seriousness, we really appreciated it!  It's nice to have friends!
Special thanks to Tmeat for being Asa's best man, Theo for performing
the ceremony, Mendek for being the backup in case Theo couldn't make it,
and Mistyblue for the lovely gift!)

Alamar heroed today and wanted to thank Leorick, Ynnad, Macros,
Talonius, Zor, Melanie, And any other Friends who may have helped him
out in one way or another!  "This is the Greatest MUD!!", he said.  And,
of course, he's right.  :)  Congrats Alamar!
