The AVATAR experience begins with low mortal, commonly refered to as 'low mort'. A new player starts the adventure at level 1, in MUDSCHOOL . As experience is gained, a character gains the ability to train new skills, spells, and attributes. HINT
The low mort tier is favored by some players in the realm because it is a dynamic, fast paced game. Gear is constantly in need of improvement, and with each level comes the possibility of more power. Low mortal is a time to become aquainted with your character. Will you be an amazing damage dealer? Or will you be better suited dodging and parrying enemy attacks? Will you become an intelligent spell caster? Or should you rely on brute strength and skill with a sword? Low mort is the time to find out the special niche that you and your character fill in AVATAR. Enjoy it while it lasts though, after the quick journey through low mort, you face the daunting HERO teir.
